Despite hundreds of thousands dying from horrible asbestos related cancers, such as mesothelioma and asbestosis, Canada is reopening chyrsotile mines, hanging on to keeping a town called Asbestos versus renaming, and sending tons of the carcinogen to third world countries who have no enforcement of protective measures for workers or the general public. It’s virtually sending poison bombs to the innocent disguised as a miracle product.

For years, actually as far back as the early 1900’s, scientific studies have shown that exposure to asbestos, a naturally occuring mineral, leads to diseases that kill. It’s not immediate death either. It can take as much as fifty years for mesothelioma to show symptoms, and when they do appear, survival times are often months. There is no cure.
The only way to prevent mesothelioma and asbestosis is to NOT USE IT! Even one tiny microscopic fiber can cause fatal cancers. We have written numerous articles in support of a global ban on asbestos, and will continue to advocate for this.
It is sad. We know when our clients diagnosed with mesothelioma or their family members come to us, that we have a short time to help them. We also know that although we can help them to get settlements from companies that should have provided warnings and protections, it will not save the life of the loved one.
Canada knows better. We urge, once again, put the lives of people over profit. This video is a cry out to the world to help end the importation and to protect those that don’t have the power or voice to not be exposed to this deadly substance.
